Buddhism vs. Hinduism
You may be asked by your professor to write a term paper comparing Buddhism and Hinduism. Buddhism and Hinduism are two similar religions in many ways. One way that these two religions are similar is because they both believe in reincarnation. Another similar thing is that they both started in India. They also both believe in karma. These two beliefs were also non violent. The last similarity is that they both didn't have a "Head Person." Buddhism and Hinduism are also two dissimilar beliefs in many ways. One way these two religions are dissimilar is because they both believe in reincarnation for a different reason. Another dissimilar thing is that no one knows who really founded Hinduism and in Buddhism they do know. They have karma for different reasons. They also are able to get karma in different ways. The last dissimilar thing about Buddhism and Hinduism is that they both live their lives in different ways. Reincarnation was and is a big belief in Buddhism and Hinduism.
The belief of reincarnation is believing in rebirth in another body. In Buddhism you get reincarnated to help reach enlightenment. Enlightenment is a blessed state in which an individual transcends desire and suffering and attains Nirvana. In Hinduism you get reincarnated to help you move up or down in the caste system depending on how your karma is. Karma was and is also a big belief in Buddhism and Hinduism. In Buddhism you get good karma for your actions and doings. If you believe in Buddhism then your karma determines your destiny in your future. In Hinduism you get good karma for fulfilling your duties well. If you believe in Hinduism then your karma determines whether you move up or down in the caste in your reincarnation. Buddhism and Hinduism are two religions that are well know all around the world. These two religions have their differences but they also have their similarities. There are many beliefs and teachings in both religions. Therefore, you may conclude your essay by stating that Buddhism and Hinduism are similar and different from each other.
